Notify Us When You Will Be Traveling

If you are planning to travel away from home, its always a good idea to contact Community Credit Union to make us aware of where you will be traveling. This will help to eliminate any problems you may experience with your Visa Credit Card.

• Advance notice will help ensure that legitimate purchases are approved. In addition, you will want to verify your daily spending and cash withdrawal restrictions to make sure they are appropriate
• Memorize your Visa Card Personal Identification Number (PIN). For security purposes. never write your PIN on your Visa card
• Keep your Visa card account number and the lost/stolen customer service contact number in a safe place (separate from your wallet or handbag)

A Share or Certificate Loan from Community Credit Union may be the perfect solution for you if you have a share (savings account) or a share certificate to secure the loan with.

Credit Builder.If you do not have a savings to secure the loan with then a Credit Builder Loan may be your best option. With a Credit Builder Loan, you pay regular monthly payments for the term of the loan that are locked into a savings account until the full amount of the Credit Builder Loan is secured in the savings account. Then the funds up to the value of the loan are released to you which can help you apply for a larger secured loan, start an emergency fund or even pay down another debt.

Smart Option Student Loan and graduate loan products: These loans are for students at participating degree-granting schools. Smart Option Student Loan information is for undergraduates only. Graduate Certificate/Continuing Education coursework is not eligible for MBA, Medical, Dental, and Law School Loans. The loan must be used for a school purpose (books,tuition,etc) and check must be payable to the educational institution.(Maximum limit is $20,000.00) This is not a deferred product so loan payments would begin the following month after loan closing.

Community Credit Union offers Teen Loans and Teen credit cards. Our purpose in this effort is to teach teenagers about the importance of saving, building a budget and being responsible with their finances. As part of this program, teens must:

• Be between the ages of 16 and 17
• Have a positive savings account history
• Be employed for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a parental or guardian co-signer

Teen Loans

• $250.00 - $2,000.00, Maximum 24 months
• $2,000.00 - $5,000.00, Extended terms available
